Christmas in London by Chauffeur: Parties, Winter Wonderland and Late Nights

December is the busiest month on London's roads. Office parties, client dinners, Christmas shopping and family visits all compete for the same streets, and finding a car at midnight on a Friday can take longer than the party itself. A booked chauffeur takes that out of the evening.

Office Parties and Client Dinners

For a team night out or a client dinner, the simplest approach is hourly hire. The car drops guests at the venue, waits nearby and takes everyone home in turn at the end of the night. A Mercedes-Benz V-Class seats up to six passengers in comfort, so one vehicle can often replace several taxis.

For larger events we coordinate several cars on one booking, with a single point of contact who has the guest list, pick-up times and addresses.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland 2026

Winter Wonderland runs from Thursday 19 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, open every day except Christmas Day, until 10pm. The roads around Hyde Park Corner and Park Lane are among the busiest in London in the evenings, so we agree a clear drop-off and pick-up point in advance and send your chauffeur's details the day before.

Festive Shopping

Bond Street, Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Regent Street are at their most beautiful in December, and their most crowded. Theatre, Concerts and Late Nights

Family Arrivals for Christmas

Families flying in for the holidays are one of our busiest jobs in late December. We monitor the flight, meet them inside arrivals and bring them straight home, with a V-Class for larger groups and luggage. See airport transfers.
